Volunteers

They contribute…

In this section we report on specific actions and voluntary contributions from different sources that are significantly helping CIRIR and its actors. They are reported by names and dates. Our group, the scientific community and all those who are contributing toward valorizing and preserving this asteroid impact geoheritage, are much thankful. Beyond acknowledgments, this is their pride and our pride that we share while putting their contribution in the front of the scene. If Science is the primary key to the exploitation of this world heritage, Science and the CIRIR adventure is not just a matter of bringing scientists on site. The initiatives reported here are illustrating some of the very different ways “nonprofessional” scientists are in fact participating actively to the “SCIENCE”. They are important, and this need to be said and recognized. This section is a modest account toward that aim. With the development of CIRIR activity toward RESTITUTION in relation with the CIRIR UNESCO project (CIRIR UNESCO), we aim at developing and illustrating this section on a much larger scale.
